Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Economics, Business or related area.
• 8+ years of experience in marketing, public relations and program leadership with a proven track record.
• 5+ years leading high-performance, cross-functional teams.
• Hands on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Salesforce, etc.
• Public relations accreditation (APR) preferred.
• Excellent face-to-face, written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and diverse priorities in a mid-to large-size financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, leadership and strategic direction for Self-Help’s communications and marketing staff and operations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and stakeholders to determine goals.
• Oversee the creation and execution of public relations, marketing and communications strategies.
• Build and protect the brand and promote a strong membership/community through messaging.
• Lead campaigns across online and offline channels to support goals and measure results.
• Develop public relations strategies focused on key priorities and broad awareness.
• Manage budgets and vendor contracts to optimize pricing and service levels.
• Expand the brand voice and ensure consistency across channels.
