Job summary

Carter Rolan Group in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead the Finance and Accounting function and partner with senior leadership to drive strategic financial performance as the business scales.

Reporting to executive leadership, you will own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, project accounting, and financial controls, with a clear path toward CFO-level responsibility. This role offers significant exposure across operations and commercial decision making.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leadership experience within project-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of WIP, job costing, and progress billing.
• Experience in multi-entity environments with intercompany accounting.
• Expert budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial modelling.
• Ability to partner with operational and commercial leaders.
• Proven track record of developing finance teams and improving controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and long-range planning.
• Provide analytical insights to support executive decisions.
• Own cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Oversee accounting across a multi-entity environment with strong controls.
• Manage WIP, job costing, project accounting and progressive billing.
• Oversee intercompany accounting across multiple operations.
• Partner with operations to understand project performance and margins.
• Mentor and develop the Finance and Accounting team.
• Improve financial processes, reporting, and controls.
• Develop advanced financial modelling as the business scales.
