Job summary

Rexel USA in Modesto, CA is seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist to manage onsite customer agreements and VMI deliverables. You will maximize profitability while ensuring accurate inventory and service quality, reporting insights, and collaborating with sales teams.

The role requires strong relationship building, data analysis, and proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office. A driver’s license and ability to travel as needed are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years in project management, procurement, or customer service.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
High School or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish and foster relationships with sales and customers to understand needs.
Execute vendor managed inventory requirements to maximize profitability.
Monitor inventory usage and place re-orders per reorder points.
Scan and replenish customer stock; assist with inventory movement.
Train new hires on VMI processes and data analysis.
Conduct onsite assessments and address customer concerns promptly.
