Job summary

City National Bank seeks a Vendor Onboarding Specialist to join its Vendor Management Office. The role focuses on enterprise-wide third-party risk onboarding evaluations and ongoing management services, supporting CNB and affiliates with onboarding and renewals of engagements.

The candidate will streamline onboarding, act as a liaison across business units, and collaborate with Information Security, Legal, and Procurement to expedite timelines and improve customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years in third party risk management in financial services.
• Minimum of 3 years in risk & controls identification and assurance testing.
• Minimum of 2 years with a GRC system and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding of third party risk requests and coordinate with Vendor Risk Specialist and Strategic Sourcing.
• Act as liaison to align business priorities with suppliers and new engagements.
• Coordinate with Information Security, Enterprise Risk Management, Legal, and other functions to accelerate onboarding.
• Document onboarding pathways, vendor registration, and documentation requirements.
• Review requests for new/renewal contracts and plan expediting steps to contract signing.
• Measure onboarding progress and report against Key Risk Indicators.
• Perform data analysis on vendor and contract data; support ad hoc projects.
