Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a Vendor Management Analyst II to independently manage complex vendor contracts and renewals for the Office of Information Technology. You will lead renewal planning, coordinate with stakeholders, and monitor SLAs to optimize vendor performance.

In this role, you will support RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, drive procurement actions, and contribute to budget planning by analyzing contract spend and renewal costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years vendor management, procurement, contract administration, or five (5) years total experience.
• Experience with RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes and contract lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages complex, high‑value contract renewals with alignment to budget and procurement requirements.
• Leads renewal planning discussions, identifies risks, changes, and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Reviews contract terms and SLAs, recommending actions for risks or performance gaps.
• Monitors milestones, renewal timelines, and compliance across vendor lifecycle activities.
• Supports procurement activities in collaboration with stakeholders during RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.
• Drives vendor performance monitoring with SLAs, scorecards, and reporting.
