Job summary

RTX's Raytheon Circuit Card Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Value Stream Lead to manage the Surface Mount Technology value stream. As a senior leader, you will drive operational excellence, ensure timely delivery of high‑quality products, lead cross‑functional teams, and oversee end‑to‑end processes to meet customer requirements.

The role demands a university degree with 10+ years in manufacturing or related fields, experience with aerospace/defense standards, and proven lean or CORE

Qualifications

• Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Production, Engineering, Quality, Program and/or project management.
• Experience working with aerospace and defense industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Front-End Process in the SMT value stream.
• Develop production schedules, capacity planning, workforce planning, and resource allocation to meet demand while optimizing productivity and costs.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including operators, engineers, and technical support staff.
• Apply Lean principles, CORE methodologies, and other best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production control, quality, and other cross business teams to resolve issues and drive improvement.
• Monitor and report on KPIs including safety, on-time delivery, yield, cycle time, COPQ, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to production schedules, yield issues, and technical challenges.
• Interface with internal customers to align expectations and drive growth.
