Job summary

Highspring is seeking a senior Accounting Advisory professional to support valuation work for Fortune 100 brands and growth companies. You will engage with clients on complex valuations, apply DCF and guideline methodologies, and help ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance.

You will work with a team of seasoned professionals, contribute to business development, and mentor staff while traveling up to 10% as needed. A CPA/CFA/ASA path is encouraged in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional services experience including business valuations.
• CFA, CPA, ASA (or progress towards achieving these certifications).
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial theory and general accounting issues.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Assist fast-growing companies with valuation projects across M&A, financial reporting, tax planning and compliance.
• Engage with clients on valuations for business combinations, intangibles valuations, and private equity reporting.
• Apply standard valuation methodologies including discounted cash flow, guideline publicly traded company and guideline transaction method.
• Review team progress to ensure compliance with valuation best practices.
• Educate internal and external audiences on valuation conclusions.
• Establish credibility as a trusted advisor.
• Manage client relationships with an eye toward identifying and closing on new business opportunities.
• Actively participate in career development activities and technical training of staff.
