Job summary

North Dakota Workforce Safety & Insurance is seeking an Underwriter to support financial stability by educating, servicing, and protecting stakeholders. You will communicate effectively and apply decisive judgment in decision-making.

You will manage an alpha assignment of employer accounts, assess risk, determine rate classifications, verify payroll, analyze coverage needs, complete jurisdictional determinations, review experience rate calculations, and assist with transfers and consolidations.

Qualifications

• Requires four years of work experience in business administration services or an insurance-related field.
• College-level coursework in business administration, accounting, public administration, healthcare, economics, or closely related fields may substitute for the work experience requirements on a year-for-year basis.
