Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, Public Health, or related field.
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in social/human services with leadership.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in budgeting, regulatory compliance, and program development.
• Familiarity with harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and housing-first concepts.
• Knowledge of culturally responsive, community-centered service delivery.
• Driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Background investigation and pre-employment screening completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and long-range planning for the Department of Social Services.
• Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of social service programs.
• Manage budgets, grants, and resources with a focus on fiscal accountability.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff; foster staff development.
• Establish partnerships with Tribal departments, agencies, schools, and providers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and grant requirements.
• Monitor performance measures and report to Tribal leadership.
