Job summary

Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is seeking a CHYM Procurement Manager to lead strategic procurement activities for the Choose How You Move program. You will coordinate with Metro departments, advise on contracting methods, and ensure compliant, efficient procurement delivery that advances transit and street improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least eight (8) years of relevant experience in procurement and alternative contracting, with P3, Design-Build, CMAR, IDM contracts.
• At least 2 years of program/process management.
• Some experience in public agency procurement.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert leadership and guidance for procurement strategy as part of the CHYM team.
• Develops industry vendor engagement practices to expand the vendor pool.
• Supports procurement for CHYM operating and capital projects (sidewalks, signals, safety improvements).
• Develops procurement strategy documents, scopes and schedules for projects.
• Communicates with internal and external stakeholders, including elected officials and the public.
• Oversees third-party program management vendors and consultants as needed.
