Responsibilities

• Be the face of HDR's transportation practice across the area, strengthening presence and reputation.
• Guide the Transportation Business Group by developing and maintaining programs for growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
• Lead strategic growth initiatives to expand HDR's impact across key transportation markets.
• Drive development and execution of business strategies aligned with goals of the group, region, and company.
• Partner with regional and national leaders to advance technical services, delivery methods, and standards.
• Oversee business development, market growth, client engagement, and HDR positioning.
• Foster collaboration across offices, disciplines, and business classes for integrated delivery.
• Build and empower a high-performing team through recruitment, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Cultivate strong client relationships with transportation agencies, municipalities, and partners.
• Advance technical excellence by ensuring quality, innovation, and client satisfaction in projects.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements for efficiency and profitability.
• Champion HDR values, quality management, and risk policies.
• Contribute to regional planning and company-wide HDR transportation strategy.
• Represent HDR in industry organizations, conferences, and community activities.
• Perform other leadership responsibilities as needed.
