Job summary

CDM Smith is offering an internship with our Transportation Advisory Services Team. You will help deliver strategic communications for transportation clients, including websites, videos, emails, social content and presentations.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning or a related field, eager to learn, and comfortable with Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Travel is not required; preferred locations are Austin, Chicago or Bellevue.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's in Planning or related field.
• Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to meet deadlines; strong writing skills.
• Self-starter, team-oriented, with good organization and time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel; strong business writing.

• Assist in delivering integrated strategic communications for transportation clients.
• Support creation of collateral including websites, videos, emails, social media and presentations.
• Help with meeting management and client events; craft content for diverse audiences.
