Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an intern to join our Transportation Advisory Services Team. You will help deliver strategic communications for transportation clients, including websites, videos, emails, social media and meetings.

Enthus iam and writing skills are essential; you will work across tasks with a teamwork-first approach. Currently enrolled in a Planning-related degree, you will gain exposure to public policy, infrastructure and project communications while in our Austin, Chicago or Bellevue

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning or a related field.
• Enthusiasm, initiative, ability to meet deadlines and writing skills are essential.
• Strong organization and collaboration skills for teamwork-based projects.

Responsibilities

• Support content creation including websites, videos, emails, social media content, presentations, and meeting management such as task forces and client events.
• Help craft collateral explaining technical content for clients, stakeholders, and lay audiences.
• Assist project teams delivering integrated strategic communications products and services to transportation clients.
