Job summary

Essity North America Inc. in Appleton, WI is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead our North America transportation strategy, overseeing a network of nearly 100 carriers and managing over $100 million in annual spend.

5+ years of transportation experience in procurement and planning.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
Ability to operate in a matrix organization and collaborate across business units.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience with SAP and TMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor transportation service KPIs and explain deviations; implement corrective actions.
Develop and manage projects for transportation cost optimization and lane productivity.
Negotiate contracts and provide cost input for AP and budgeting.
Develop carrier relationships and set up contracts; conduct business reviews.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Warehousing, Planning, and other stakeholders.
