Job summary

Essity seeks a Transportation Supervisor to lead the Central Transport Planning Team (Smart Hub) in Appleton, WI. You will supervise planners, manage load planning for North America sites and 3PLs, and drive efficient, cost-effective transport solutions.

The role requires 3–4 years in transportation planning, MS Office proficiency, and experience with TMS; SAP/PowerBI skills are a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; location is on site in the USA.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience in Transportation Planning and Execution and Managed Service management.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required.
• Diverse Transportation and Supply Chain knowledge; retail fulfillment experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and business-oriented mindset.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills for people management.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multi-task daily activities.
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• MS Office skills; SAP and PowerBI knowledge will be a plus; experience with TMS required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Smart Hub resources and workloads for transportation planning.
• Lead transport planning and execution to meet service level agreements.
• Advise on improvements, lane exclusions, and scenario simulations.
• Manage relationships with Customer Service, Site Logistics, RDM, and Transportation Manager.
• Serve as single point of contact for operational issues and escalation.
• Create a seamless internal and external customer experience for Smart Hub interactions.
• Review reports to identify performance trends and provide input to leadership.
