Job summary

Essity AB is seeking a Transportation Manager for the North America team based in Appleton, WI. You will secure reliable, cost-effective transportation across road and rail, manage a carrier network, and drive strategy for fulfillment and service levels.

The role requires 5+ years in transportation, experience with procurement and planning, and strong collaboration across functions. SAP and Blue Yonder TMS are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in transportation procurement and planning.
• Bachelor degree in business or related field preferred.
• Experience in a matrix organization and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with international contacts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPI's and drive corrective actions.
• Lead transportation cost optimization projects and lane optimization.
• Negotiate contracts and provide cost inputs for budgets.
• Develop carrier relationships and manage contract setup.
• Visit market facilities to ensure harmonization of operations.
