Job summary

Ice Solutions is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead and optimize the company’s transportation and distribution operations. You will oversee planning, fleet, routing, carrier relationships, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of materials and finished products between suppliers, facilities, and customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, or related field preferred.
5+ years of progressive transportation, fleet, logistics, or distribution experience with leadership.
Experience managing operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Experience with company fleets and third-party carriers.
Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations.
Experience with TMS, routing software, GPS/telematics, or similar tech.
Proven ability to reduce costs while maintaining service and safety.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organization skills.
Willingness to travel between facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day transportation operations across facilities and customer locations.
Develop strategies to improve efficiency, service, capacity, and cost.
Coordinate requirements with Production, Warehouse, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
Design routes, schedule shipments, and optimize loads for vehicle utilization.
Ensure timely deliveries while minimizing detours and costs.
Monitor capacity and create contingency plans for surges or disruptions.
Establish scalable transportation processes aligned with growth.
Oversee fleet utilization, maintenance, and readiness.
