Job summary

Evans Transportation in Minnesota is seeking an Account Manager to be the main contact for truckload shippers, communicating with clients and cross-functional teams to execute operations and ensure on-time delivery.

You will build relationships, manage shipments in Mercury Gate, and contribute to KPI measurements, pricing strategies, and reporting.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Mercury Gate is preferred, but not required.
• Transportation experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read, write, type and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Execute day-to-day transportation needs.
• Accepting loads, building loads, and scheduling appointments for customers’ shipments.
• Learn customer portals to provide true transparency on load status.
• Identify issues and implement solutions.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly.
