Job summary

Evans Transportation Services LLC seeks an Account Manager to be the primary contact for truckload shippers, coordinating with clients, shippers, receivers, and cross-functional teams to review orders and execute shipments to customers’ satisfaction.

The role focuses on retaining and growing key accounts, delivering operational excellence, and providing KPI reports, billing support, and handling after-hours exceptions and freight claims with internal resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal abilities.
• Experience with Mercury Gate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main client contact and coordinate with shippers, receivers, and ops teams.
• Review and process customer orders and ensure on-time shipment execution.
• Retain and grow account base, pursuing operational excellence.
• Provide customer-facing reporting and business reviews, including KPI insights.
• Address after-hours exceptions and freight claims with internal resources.
