Job summary

LUZCO Technologies LLC seeking a Distribution Portfolio Engineer to support utility clients in smarter, long-range capital investment decisions that strengthen the reliability of the electric grid.

In this role you’ll collaborate across engineering, planning, project management, and client strategy teams to develop multi-year investment plans, evaluate priorities, and drive value for communities we serve. Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in utility planning, transmission, distribution, or substation engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-range capital investment portfolios for utility clients.
• Partner with engineering, operations, project management, and client teams to identify current and future infrastructure needs.
• Support the development and execution of multi-year capital investment plans.
• Evaluate project priorities, funding requirements, schedules, risks, and overall portfolio impacts.
• Identify opportunities to optimize project sequencing, improve efficiency, and maximize the value of capital investments.
• Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, cost estimates, and funding strategies.
• Review engineering, financial, and project data to support planning and investment decisions.
• Coordinate across multiple teams to address project dependencies, resource constraints, and execution challenges.
