Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. invites you to join as a Program Manager to lead complex business and technology transformation initiatives under TDO governance standards.

You will drive delivery across the full project lifecycle with emphasis on governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. You will partner with business, operations, finance, risk, compliance, and technology teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering large-scale cross-functional business and technology transformation initiatives in financial institutions.
• Strong experience in program planning, governance, budgeting, resource management, financial tracking, and execution.
• Experience presenting status updates and recommendations to senior management and governance committees.
• Understanding of finance, risk, operations, data and technology processes; regulatory change management knowledge.
• Knowledge of Loans, Derivatives, Securities and Repurchase Agreements preferred.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders at all levels, and drive accountability.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, written and verbal communication and presentations.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and tools like JIRA and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex business and technology transformation initiatives across the project lifecycle.
• Drive strategic initiatives including target-state design, technology implementation, testing and adoption.
• Coordinate integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource commitments.
• Ensure delivery outcomes align with objectives, governance, and control requirements.
• Manage governance activities: status, RAID, dependencies, issue escalation, and exec communications.
• Facilitate working groups and governance forums to enable timely decisions and delivery.
• Produce and maintain project artifacts: plans, status reports, exec decks, decision logs.
• Build partnerships across business, operations, finance, risk, compliance and technology.
• Provide senior management with transparent program health assessments and risk updates.
