Job summary

ByteDance's Global Tax team seeks a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to lead TP efforts in the Americas, with a strong focus on the US. You will drive planning, policy, OTP, compliance and controversy, and provide expert TP support to the business.

You will partner with finance teams, oversee TP risk assessments, and guide implementation of TP processes, while coordinating with external consultants on documentation and audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transfer pricing experience in a multinational or global company or top firm.
• Experience in planning, compliance and controversy, especially U.S. tax regulations.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer pricing planning, policy setting, OTP, compliance, controversy and support.
• Build partnerships with finance teams and provide ad-hoc TP advice.
• Lead internal TP risk assessment and functional/financial analyses.
• Implement TP processes, controls, and monitoring; propose improvements.
• Manage audits, develop strategy, respond to authorities and manage relationships.
• Conduct TP calculations and collaborate with external consultants on contemporaneous docs.
• Respond to TP inquiries and assist partners with TP issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor proposed TP legislation and its impact on operations.
