Job summary

Atlas Search in New York is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to build and own valuation and capital models, perform market analysis, and prepare board materials. Qualifications

• Five to seven years in investment banking, private equity, or a comparable transaction.
• Demonstrably strong financial modelling built from scratch.
• A record of analysis that reached an investment committee or board and carried a decision.
• Command of accounting and how transaction structure flows through financial statements.
• Clear written work: a memorandum stating a recommendation and the reasoning.
• Comfort operating without structure; no analyst bench; role defines its own processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the transaction and capital models: valuation, accretion and dilution, pro forma capital structure, and scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Model Bitcoin per share impact across a range of Bitcoin price, premium, and issuance assumptions.
• Stress-tests the downside first; show the conditions under which a transaction fails.
• Runs diligence workstreams on acquisitions and strategic transactions and coordinates external advisers.
• Prepares the decision materials: board and committee papers, transaction memoranda, and the analysis behind a recommendation.
• Maintains the opportunity pipeline with a named status, owner, and next step against each item.
