Job summary

AIG's Corporate Development team seeks a Senior Analyst in New York to support evaluation and execution of strategic transactions. You will build financial models, conduct due diligence, and craft memorandums and presentations for senior management and the Board.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in related finance roles, strong analytical and communication skills, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint. Office-based role with competitive benefits. Total Rewards program included.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of corporate development, management consulting, investor relations, investment banking, or related finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data rooms.

Responsibilities

• M&A Process Management: Develop workplans with status updates and meeting notes.
• Due Diligence: Maintain due diligence lists and manage virtual data rooms.
• Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build models and analyses for transactions.
• Memorandums & Presentations: Prepare material for senior management and the Board.
• Strategy Development: Research insurance markets and industry trends to support strategy.
• Adhoc Requests: Produce ad hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Competitive Benchmarking: Monitor peers and potential targets.
