Job summary

Oak Ridge National Laboratory seeks a Training Program Lead for the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS). You will define, implement, track, and continuously improve training across SNS organizations, including support for facility users and nonemployee training.

You will manage training requirements, coordinate DTO activities, and maintain the LMS, partnering with supervisors and staff to drive program success.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing training/qualification requirements in a complex operations and/or research environment.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and training program development.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the SNS Training and Qualification Plan (TQP).
• Consult with supervisors and DTOs on training requirements and coordinate implementation.
• Manage training assignments in the LMS and track completion across SNS organizations.
• Support management of training for facility users, nonemployees, and students.
• Define and prioritize training initiatives and coordinate DTO activities.
