Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Training or related field.
• At least three years of training experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adept with multimedia training platforms and methods.
• Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
• Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
• Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.

Responsibilities

• Sets the example for excellence in training practices and designs/administers systems to ensure trainers are sufficiently trained and perform to expectations.
• Assesses the organization’s training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers and instructors.
• Creates, organizes, plans, and presents onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees.
• Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers’ specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
• Works with Managers to ensure employees are given tools and resources to learn and progress.
• Reviews and updates current best practices to aid the training and development process.
• Performs audits of on-the-job training, monitors and documents employee progress.
• Creates and administers training materials and manuals.
• Presents programs using group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos.
• Maintains records of training activities, attendance, results, and retraining requirements.
• Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
