Lumen is seeking an External Event Marketing Manager to lead end-to-end third‑party events, managing budgets, staffing, and onsite production across Tier 1 and Tier 2 programs. You will partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Communications, and agencies to deliver measurable business results.

In this role, you will develop planning documents, timelines, and run-of-show processes, while coordinating cross‑functional teams and maintaining brand standards. Travel up to 25-40% is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of professional experience.
• 6+ years with a Master’s degree.
• 5+ years executing large-scale events, conferences, or experiential programs.
• Experience supporting major industry events (AWS re:Invent, Ignite, Cisco Live, etc.).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25-40%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end execution for Tier 1 and 2 third-party events.
• Support the External Event Strategy lead in portfolio plans.
• Own event planning documents, timelines, and run-of-show materials.
• Manage event agencies, vendors, venues, and production partners.
• Lead onsite event execution, logistics, staffing, and issue resolution.
• Develop staffing plans and deploy resources before, during, and after events.
• Produce ancillary events like dinners, roundtables, and receptions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Create scalable event processes and planning tools.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor deliverables.
