Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Trade Compliance Officer to join our team in an on-site role offering significant responsibility for ITAR and EAR compliance across Saab's Land Systems division.

The role reports to the Director of Trade Compliance and focuses on developing and managing export licensing, policy, and compliance strategies with global reach. Willingness to travel 5–10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of ITAR/EAR or Master's with 8+ years in trade regulations.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams on USML/ECCN classification determinations.
• Currently hold, or able to obtain, a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve the trade compliance program for defense-related activities.
• Collaborate with program teams to discuss objectives and drive compliance strategies.
• Serve as SME on ITAR and EAR compliance and provide clear guidance.
