Job summary
The Town of Middleburg seeks an experienced, community-oriented Town Manager to serve as chief executive of a full-service municipal corporation. Reporting to the Mayor and Town Council, the manager leads strategic fiscal planning and capital programs, while coordinating with Loudoun County and state authorities to maximize regional assets and protect local autonomy.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, political science, or related field.
- Master’s in public administration (MPA) or related discipline strongly preferred.
- Progressively responsible experience in municipal management; prior service as town/city manager or department head is expected.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of capital and operational planning.
- Serve as chief advisor to Mayor and Town Council and liaison to county leadership and state agencies.
- Oversee external partner, contractor, and consultant relationships across engineering, finance, event management, and marketing.
- Lead long-range community and financial planning, capital improvements, and intergovernmental affairs.
