Job summary

LP Building Solutions is seeking a driven sales professional to grow LP Specialty building products across builder, contractor, and dealer channels. This role emphasizes strategic account development, knowledge of building codes, and strong relationships with regional builders; requires hands-on collaboration with sales teams and code officials.

You will travel frequently (roughly 50% overnight) from a home office, visiting customers, representing LP at major MSAs, and delivering installation

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local building codes and market intelligence.
• Deep understanding of building science.
• Strong relationships with regional and local builders.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate with trades and demonstrate product applications.

Responsibilities

• Create sales growth for LP Specialty products at builders, contractors, and dealers.
• Collaborate with LP regional and channel managers to hit growth targets.
• Prospect for new customers and negotiate to grow revenue by $1M+ annually.
• Provide installation expertise and warranty information to builders and dealers.
• Advance LP product placement with top 25 builders in major markets.
