Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC in the Milwaukee area is seeking a Territory Manager to drive profitable growth through account management, merchandising, and sales leadership in assigned accounts.

You will build relationships with retail buyers, develop strategic plans, lead in-store execution, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing new business within your territory, traveling up to 70% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales with 1–3 years account management experience leading a territory greater than $2M; furniture/mattress experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen with data-driven decision making and adapt business plans to changing conditions.
• Strong relationship and negotiation skills.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills for meetings, training, and store visits.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with clients to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.
• Build relationships with retail buyers/decision-makers to drive growth and profitability.
• Develop merchandising strategies and conduct business/product reviews to align on performance and opportunities.
• Own in-market execution standards and drive new business within assigned territory.
