Job summary

Kinetic, a business unit of Uniti Group Inc., seeks a strategic Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of B2B clients in Des Moines, IA, ensuring our multi-gig fiber, hosted voice, and SD-WAN services meet client needs.

The role focuses on growth, retention, ROI demonstrations, and close collaboration with Sales Engineering; travel within the territory is required, with a competitive base salary and commissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Telecom, ISP, or technology sales/account management.
• Knowledge of fiber-optic connectivity and VoIP is highly preferred.
• Proven track record meeting expansion and retention targets in B2B.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated consultant for a book of B2B accounts, ensuring service meets operational demands.
• Identify opportunities to upgrade client infrastructure and upsell services.
• Manage the contract renewal lifecycle to minimize churn.
• Lead regular account reviews to demonstrate value and ROI.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Support to ensure seamless delivery.
