Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Austin seeks an experienced contract manager to drive negotiations and contracting for technology agreements, including licensing, development deals, and post-execution management with GF customers, government agencies, and partners.

You will partner with business and technical teams to align objectives with GF stakeholders, handle multi-year agreements, and ensure compliance with legal terms. A strong communicator with engineering or science background is preferred.

Qualifications

Solid understanding of the semiconductor foundry business and GF ecosystem partners.
Experience drafting and negotiating technology agreements (in-licenses, out-licenses, development).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Drive negotiations and contracting for key technology agreements with GF customers, government agencies, universities, consortia and suppliers.
Interact with tool vendors, EDA and design IP providers as part of contracting.
Define contract objectives (NRE payments, license terms, deliverables) in alignment with GF stakeholders.
Manage ongoing contract administration and business processes for multi-year agreements.
Support special projects and collaborate across GF departments and external partners.
