Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an experienced attorney to independently manage the drafting and negotiation of complex sales transactions. The attorney will lead high-value deals, coordinating across GF teams and advising executives and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Required: J.D., LLB or equivalent, 10+ years in sophisticated commercial transactions, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and strong communication. Occasional travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• J.D., LLB or equivalent degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in sophisticated commercial transactions.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication across all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with customers and internal clients to obtain deal closure.
• Formulate effective negotiation strategies based on GF business, law, risk and financial analysis.
• Provide advice to various functional areas and mitigate risks.
• Draft, review and advise on contract drafts with concise, well-drafted language.
• Lead and mentor other contracts professionals; manage multiple complex projects.
