The Trade Desk in the United States is seeking a Technical Sourcer to shape the pipeline for platform and product innovation. You will partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and engineering leaders to identify exceptional technical talent and influence talent strategy in an AI‑accelerated landscape.

This role thrives on autonomy, data‑driven decision making, and building authentic relationships with hard‑to‑reach engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing or technical recruiting for software, product-driven, or AI/ML companies
• Demonstrated success sourcing highly specialized technical talent at a tech company, startup, or leading SaaS org
• Deep proficiency with sourcing platforms and tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow) and AI-assisted sourcing tools
• Ability to translate hiring needs into talent market strategies and understand technical concepts such as distributed systems and ML

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute customized sourcing strategies by role, level, and location to identify top technical talent
• Partner with recruiters, coordinators, and hiring managers to understand role requirements and team impact
• Tell The Trade Desk story and mission to candidates, highlighting engineering challenges and culture
• Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach to passive and highly specialized talent
• Serve as a strategic talent advisor using market insights and KPI data
• Deliver timely pipeline updates as hiring plans evolve
• Conduct talent market research, competitive intelligence, and industry mapping
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to improve pipeline quality and efficiency
• Maintain organized candidate data in ATS/CRM with strong stakeholder and candidate experience
