Job summary

Afinitas is seeking an Inside Sales Project Manager to blend technical sales support, cost estimating, and project management for its wet cast forming division. You will work closely with customers, outside sales, Engineering, Operations, Planning, and Procurement to develop quotations, manage execution, ensure profitability, and deliver outstanding customer experience.

Ideal candidates will have a technical degree or equivalent; 3–5 years in capital equipment sales or PM; strong math, reading

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in technical capital equipment sales or project management.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience with CRM/CPQ/ERP systems; Salesforce and Infor LN preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between customers, sales reps, Engineering and Operations to ensure requirements are communicated.
• Develop accurate quotations, cost estimates, and proposals for standard and custom equipment solutions.
• Communicate quotations, technical solutions, project updates to customers and reps via phone, video, in-person meetings, and trade shows.
• Lead kickoff meetings and maintain stakeholder alignment on milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
• Manage project data in CRM, CPQ, and ERP; coordinate order entry and documentation transfer to Engineering and Operations.
• Evaluate change orders for scope, cost, schedule, and profitability; maintain project profitability.
• Improve estimating tools, pricing resources, templates, and product documentation for efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate to enhance sales tools, marketing content, and customer materials for growth.
