Job summary

Google seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects across its asset and infrastructure portfolio. You will plan requirements with internal customers and shepherd projects through the full lifecycle, including schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications.

You will manage Engineering programs and teams, driving cost-effective, reliable tooling and processes for the company’s infrastructure assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management.
• 7 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the roadmap and strategy for Google’s portfolio of first-party tools supporting the asset and infrastructure layer, including resource allocation.
• Lead a governance structure that drives executive decision-making via a digital assets council, and lead internal communications with first-party customers.
• Manage the portfolio of software and tooling programs. Prioritize work, manage resources, and ensure appropriate metrics and people are in place to drive high performance and organizational impact.
• Identify and implement change management opportunities to increase program velocity and overall impact across multiple teams.
• Use AI to drive productivity, creativity, and innovation across the team, creating conditions for continuous experimentation and learning.
