Walmart seeks a Distinguished Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale technology programs with cross-functional dependencies. This role requires expertise in program planning, technical design, and stakeholder engagement to deliver end-to-end solutions aligning with business objectives.

The Tech Strategy team governs global technology initiatives, delivering data-driven portfolio governance and scalable, high-impact programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/engineering or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience; or
• 9 years’ experience in engineering/PM/product management or related area.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage goals, stage gates, and key deliverables for large-scale, multi-program initiatives with complex dependencies and resource constraints.
• Lead end-to-end technical solution design, ensuring alignment with business objectives and system scalability.
• Identify and resolve program risks, ambiguities, and conflicting priorities to maintain progress and delivery quality.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization to enhance program efficiency and velocity.
• Engage and influence stakeholders to secure commitments and communicate program status effectively.
• Mentor team members on best practices in program management, technical design, and problem-solving.
• Monitor program performance, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation to achieve business outcomes.
