Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company seeks a Technical Buyer Planner to ensure material and component availability while balancing cost, inventory, quality, delivery, and supply continuity. You will manage purchasing, supplier performance, lifecycle risks, and procurement data, partnering cross-functionally to support new products and changes in demand.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 3–7 years in purchasing or materials management, with strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Operations, or similar.
• 3-7 years of experience in purchasing, component procurement, planning, or materials management.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or technology-based components is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills including interpreting technical specs, drawings, and supplier data.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and intermediate to advanced Excel.
• APICS/CPIM or related certifications a plus.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure material and component availability to meet business and customer requirements.
• Manage purchasing, inventory planning, and supplier performance.
• Maintain ERP planning accuracy and respond to demand changes.
• Mitigate lifecycle risks and identify cost-improvement opportunities.
• Execute purchasing activities including POs, confirmations, expediting, and follow-up.
• Maintain procurement master data (lead times, pricing, MOQ, documentation).
• Monitor procurement performance (availability, on-time delivery, cost).
