Job summary

CRC-Evans is seeking an experienced Technical Buyer to source precision-machined components and manage supplier relationships across our global operations. You will ensure quality, cost, delivery and technical compliance while collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain teams in Tulsa, OK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Management.
• CPSM qualification (Level 4 or above) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for precision-machined components, fabricated parts and assemblies.
• Identify, assess, qualify and onboard new suppliers globally; manage RFQ and tendering activities.
• Evaluate quotations, perform commercial analysis and negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, contracts and service agreements.
• Raise and manage purchase orders per DOA requirements.
• Review drawings, BOMs, specs and manufacturing requirements to ensure supplier understanding.
• Understand machining requirements including CNC turning/milling, grinding, fabrication, welding, heat treatment, coatings, NDT and certification.
• Support engineering changes and lifecycle management.
• Develop strategic relationships and monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery and cost.
• Conduct supplier audits and corrective action activities.
