• Source materials, tooling, and machine components by requesting and reviewing supplier quotes
• Compare pricing, quality, and lead times to make smart purchasing decisions
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Partner with engineering, production, and inventory teams to understand needs and priorities
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure the right parts are ordered
• Track orders, follow up on deliveries, and troubleshoot any delays or issues
• Monitor costs and help keep projects aligned with budget and timelines

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Experience working with mechanical components, tooling, or similar materials is a plus
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
