Job summary

Zantech is seeking a Principal Technical Advisor (SME) to contribute to the success of our upcoming Operations and Program Management Support Services project in a hybrid role based out of Ashburn, VA.

The Contractor provides strategic oversight, technical validation, and innovation leadership from the Government's perspective, ensuring current operations and modernization deliver maximum value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in Federal IT modernization and related areas.
• 10+ years leading large, complex Federal projects.
• Experience developing data-driven KPIs and SLAs.
• Proven cloud modernization and software development experience.
• Experience applying intelligent automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Experience leading rapid prototyping or proofs-of-concept.
• PMI PMP certification and other cloud/Agile certs.
• US Citizenship and active clearance preferred; DHS CBP clearance advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop KPIs and SLAs to measure contractor performance.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate complex data into governance-facing recommendations.
• Identify and demonstrate technology-enabled modernization approaches (cloud, AI/ML).
• Lead rapid prototyping and proofs-of-concept activities.
• Assess feasibility, risks, security, and transition paths for new initiatives.
