Job summary

The Planet Group seeks a Portfolio Manager to oversee multiple Corporate Technology projects and ensure alignment with business priorities. You will focus on budgeting, forecasting, contracts and SOWs, procurement, governance and reporting, and stakeholder management.

You will coordinate with technology, finance, procurement, legal and business teams; support governance meetings and executive reporting; track risks and dependencies; and seek process improvements to boost portfolio efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, Program Management, Vendor Management, or IT Business Management.
• Strong experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• SOW management and procurement processes.
• Vendor contracts and renewals management.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple technology projects/initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Handle vendors, contracts, SOWs, renewals, and vendor performance.
• Procurement activities including purchase orders and invoice approvals.
• Coordinate governance meetings, portfolio reviews, and executive reporting.
• Track risks, issues, and dependencies across projects.
• Collaborate with Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and business teams.
• Identify ways to improve portfolio processes and operational efficiency.
