X by 2 is an IT consulting firm that partners with insurers and healthcare organizations to meet the demands of today’s digital consumer. The role, dubbed “Project Quarterback,” emphasizes on-field leadership, delivery of high-quality solutions, and driving strategic technology roadmaps.

The candidate will lead strategy engagements with C-levels, guide solution implementation programs across domains such as application, data, and AI/ML, and manage budgets and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering required.
• 5+ years hands-on software engineering experience developing enterprise solutions.
• 5+ years of consulting experience.
• 5+ years in healthcare or insurance business domains.
• 2+ years leading agile software development teams.
• 2+ years leading and/or participating in strategy engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy engagements with client C-level executives and senior management.
• Define technology strategy and initiatives spanning people, process, and technology.
• Lead and participate in solution implementations across multiple technical domains.
• Manage project scope, budgets, resources, and communications.
• Assemble and lead cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, and QA.
