Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Technology Advisor and Integration Engineer (Senior Project Engineer - Enterprise Systems Engineering) for 100% onsite work across Tysons Corner, Bethesda, and Chantilly campuses. You will guide DoD/IC customers, lead technical studies, and shape enterprise system design in a fast-paced defense environment.

A strong candidate has 10+ years in engineering, systems engineering, and acquisition governance, with a current TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in applicable STEM fields or other relevant disciplines.
10+ years of applicable engineering or software development experience.
Experience with developing or assessing technology transition plans.
Experience with systems engineering activities including requirements, architecture, risk and verification.
Experience with program management activities and governance.
Understanding of acquisition management disciplines and USSF/IC policies.
Knowledge of systems-of-systems, space, ground, or C2 systems.
Ability to work proactively and self-directed.
Ability to develop project plans and balance schedules.
Must hold a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

Leverage technical acumen to develop trusted-partner advisory relationships with senior customers.
Develop and ensure compliance with technical standards across CFO/TDG.
Provide technical guidance on system capabilities and constraints.
Advise on documentation and system architecture evolution.
Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for initiatives.
Lead technology planning and system transition planning for a mission enterprise.
Provide leadership for requirements gathering and trade studies.
Analyze systems-of-systems vulnerabilities and resiliency.
