Job summary

Navanti Group is seeking a Team Leader to support a commercial comparative study of local supplier development in critical-minerals mining. The Team Leader will manage study delivery and act as the accountable Navanti contact for quality, schedule, and client coordination.

The ideal candidate has extensive mining and public-policy expertise, 10+ years in Latin America, and proven multidisciplinary leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, public policy, industrial engineering, productive development, extractives, or related discipline.
• English proficiency at C1 level and Spanish at B2 level.
• At least 10 years of experience in productive development, mining, value chains, and public policy.
• At least 8 years of experience conducting international comparative studies and formulating public-policy recommendations related to mining and local suppliers.
• At least 7 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing projects, or serving as a company executive.
• At least 10 years of Latin America experience, including work in significant mining countries such as Chile, Peru, or Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the quality and timeliness of all advisory packages and deliverables.
• Coordinate with the client, project partners, interviewees, and other stakeholders.
• Lead and manage the multidisciplinary team, including short-term experts.
• Direct the methodology, validate technical analysis, and consolidate interim and final deliverables.
• Ensure consistency among sectoral and comparative chapters.
• Submit regular progress reports.
• Lead the development of evidence-based recommendations for public decision-makers, mining companies, local suppliers, and cooperation bodies.
