Job summary

Navanti Group is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a commercial comparative study of local supplier development in critical-minerals mining. You will lead study delivery, coordinate with clients and partners, and manage a multidisciplinary team including short-term experts.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree and 10+ years in mining/public policy, with fluency in English and Spanish and Portuguese a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, public policy, industrial engineering, productive development, or related field.
• English C1 level and Spanish B2 level.
• 10+ years of experience in productive development, mining, value chains, and public policy.
• 8+ years of experience conducting international comparative studies and formulating public-policy recommendations related to mining and local suppliers.
• 7+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing projects, or serving as a company executive.
• 10+ years of Latin America experience, including work in significant mining countries such as Chile, Peru, or Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the quality and timeliness of all advisory packages and deliverables
• Coordinate with the client, project partners, interviewees, and other stakeholders
• Lead and manage the multidisciplinary team, including short-term experts
• Direct the methodology, validate technical analysis, and consolidate interim and final deliverables
• Ensure consistency among sectoral and comparative chapters
• Submit regular progress reports
• Lead the development of evidence-based recommendations for public decision-makers, mining companies, local suppliers, and cooperation bodies
