Job summary

Cresset, a leading private investment firm, seeks an Associate Director, Tax Services in Bellevue, WA. The role focuses on strategic tax planning and advisory work for ultra-affluent clients, reviewing returns, and guiding the tax team in complex matters while collaborating with senior leaders.

You will manage client relationships, contribute to business development, and mentor junior staff, ensuring tax compliance and timely filings in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics or Accounting preferred.
• MBA or MST a plus; CPA desirable.
• 7 years of experience dealing with individual, fiduciary and entity tax compliance and tax issues.

Responsibilities

• Review tax deliverables - returns and related filings for assigned clients/entities; maintain high work standards.
• Provide guidance and mentor staff; coordinate with Senior Manager/Leader on tax issues.
• Deliver timely, accurate tax returns and work papers; ensure quality and consistency.
• Develop tax knowledge and assist client service team in complex tax matters; support relationship management.
