Job summary

Cresset, a premier multi-family office in Bellevue, WA, is seeking an Associate, Tax Analyst. This role supports strategic tax planning for ultra-affluent clients, prepares complex deliverables, and coordinates with the tax team and partners to ensure high-quality work.

You will work on tax returns, help manage client engagements, and develop expertise under senior leadership. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics or Accounting preferred
• MBA or MST a plus; CPA desirable
• Minimum of 2 years experience in individual, fiduciary and entity tax compliance and issues
• Strong accounting and analytical skills; client-service orientation and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized and self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax deliverables and returns for assigned clients with accuracy and on schedule.
• Maintain high work standards to minimize risk exposure.
• Communicate technical tax issues and resolutions with tax management and partners.
• Research technical tax issues and support client service team.
• Develop networks with internal and external professionals to grow business.
• Mentor and train junior tax associates.
• Ensure timely work papers, data entry, and filings using tax software (e.g., Go Systems).
