Confidential Employer in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a director-level tax leadership role focused on delivering tax compliance and advisory services to small business and mid-market clients. You will own day-to-day client delivery, strategy, and team performance.

Lead proactive planning, client advisory matters, and ongoing growth initiatives while mentoring a talented tax team. This role emphasizes building scalable processes and embracing modern tax technology in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• 6+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or tax advisory.
• 2+ years of supervisory, management, or people-leadership experience.

Mansioni

• Own the day-to-day delivery of tax compliance and advisory services across a portfolio of small business and mid-market clients.
• Review business and individual tax returns, estimates, filings, and related deliverables with high accuracy.
• Lead proactive tax planning conversations and identify opportunities involving entity structure, pass-through taxation, transactions, and growth.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and serve as a senior point of contact for ongoing tax questions and guidance.
• Lead, coach, and develop tax associates through feedback and career development.
• Establish review processes, quality standards, workflows, and accountability across the tax practice.
